Maybe you should explain what "teri maa" means in Punjabi?
In Malaysia (where I come from) 'thank you' is 'terima kasih'. Imagine the fun my Punjabi friends have with that one ;)
Well, Teri Maa in Punjabi means "ur mother", and is usually followed by "Ki" which makes it "Your mother's ..." The rest is left unsaid but is so obvious that it doesnt really matter. :-))
