The Dog Song

A very very very old friend wrote this as a comment for the previous post and I think this is so fantastic that it deserves its own post.
Thanks Tataastha.

Dogs Paradise (street dogs org)

As I sleep through the night at marina beech
I take a look at my life and realise there's not much left
Cause I've been barking and barking so long that
Even my mamma thinks that my mind is gone
But I ain’t never crossed a man that didn't deserve it
Me be treated like a punk, you know that's unheard of
You better watch how you taking your shots, and where you walking
You know dogs have a way of finding their way

Tell me why are humans are so blind to see
That the ones you hurt are me and my folks.
Tell me why are you so blind to see
That you are invading my privacy

I been spending most my life living in the dog’s paradise
I am nothing but a street dog in diguise

Look at the situation, you got me facing
I can't live a normal life, I was raised by the street
I tried to look like a Camouflage so I can escape the man’s eye
I guess it didn’t work out so well,
Even Evolution didn’t show any mercy on us.

Death ain’t nothing but a heartbeat away
I'm living life do or die, what can I say
I'm 10 now but will I live to see 11
The way things is going I don't know
But you don’t wanna know these things
You just wanna a shot.

I been spending most my life living in the dog’s paradise
I am nothing but a street dog in diguise
